Lindsay Halm on KING 5 – Bikini baristas preliminarily awarded $1.8M in pay violations, attorneys say
SGB attorney Lindsay Halm is featured in KING 5’s coverage of a King County Superior Court judgment awarding more than $1.8 million to a class of 70 bikini baristas who alleged years of wage and workplace violations at five local coffee stands.
The court found that Alan Tagle and his company violated Washington employment law, including failure to pay minimum wage for all hours worked. The roughly $1.85 million award reflects doubled damages on the wage claims, as ordered by the court, plus additional claims and prejudgment interest.
