Negligent Supervision

Negligent supervision claims may be available to you when an entity fails to properly supervise those under their care, creating an environment where an otherwise preventable crime is made possible.

Negligent supervision claims often apply to abuse or assault of children and the elderly who are under the care of a school, club, or residential facility. Negligent supervision can also apply if you are victimized by a parolee as a result of the State failing to properly supervise them.

Employers are also responsible for appropriately supervising their employees. If they failed and you were victimized as a result, you may have a claim for negligent supervision.
