New office serves the Tri-Cities area to support growing number of survivors coming forward

SEATTLE – Schroeter Goldmark & Bender (SGB), a Seattle-based law firm, today announced the opening of its office in Richland, Wash., expanding access to its over 55-year history of representing groups of people in complex cases and bringing that experience closer to home for survivors of abuse by Dr. Mark Mulholland, a Tri-Cities OB-GYN. The new office is located at 8350 W Grandridge Blvd, Ste 200, Kennewick, WA 99336.

Attorney Elizabeth Hanley serves as lead counsel and currently represents many women against Mulholland, an OB-GYN who worked for Providence St. Joseph Health and Kadlec Regional Medical Center in Richland, Washington, from 1999 through June 2025.

Mounting allegations against Dr. Mark Mulholland signal a pattern of sexual abuse and misconduct stretching back more than two decades. Since as early as 2003, patients began complaining to Providence and Kadlec about Mulholland engaging in inappropriate behavior, including unnecessary and gloveless pelvic “exams” and abusive language, yet the institutions allowed him to continue seeing patients until June 2025.

Lawsuits accuse Dr. Mark Mulholland, Providence St. Joseph Health and Kadlec Regional Medical Center of sex-based discrimination, failure to protect patients, and institutional negligence.

Hanley has been practicing law in Washington since 2006. Over the course of her career, she has earned recognition as one of the Top 50 Women Lawyers in Washington by Super Lawyers – an honor spanning all practice areas – and has been selected by Best Lawyers in America, a distinction reserved for the top five percent of attorneys nationwide. She served as President of the Washington State Association for Justice in 2025, and is a faculty member of the Federal Bar Association Litigation Academy, where she trains fellow attorneys in trial practice.

SGB commends the survivors who have courageously come forward with allegations against Dr. Mark Mulholland. The attorney team remains committed to pursuing justice for survivors and has extensive experience advocating for victims of sexual abuse.

If you or someone you know has information about Mark Mulholland or the institutions where he worked, please reach out as soon as possible. Unfortunately, the amount of time to come forward is limited.
