SGB’s client brought the case on behalf of his deceased father, who worked at times as a contractor at the Mobil refinery in Ferndale, Washington. Among other things, our client’s father was sent to abate asbestos pipe covering with little protection. He developed mesothelioma, which is a malignant tumor that is caused by inhaled asbestos fibers, and passed before he was diagnosed. Family and co-workers told his story instead and filled in the details for the jury. Luke Garrett and Colin Mieling provided key legal support on challenging legal issues.
