SGB filed suit against Triple Canopy, Inc. and Valensec International, Inc. in August 2022, alleging that Defendants failed to provide security guards in Washington state with legally required meal breaks or additional compensation for missed meal breaks. On September 10, 2024, the court granted final approval of a class-wide settlement with Triple Canopy. Settlement funds have been distributed with a cash-checking deadline of March 5, 2025.
