SGB shareholder Craig Sims was recently inducted into the American College of Trial Lawyers (ACTL) -– one of the most distinguished organizations of trial lawyers in North America.

The ACTL is composed of leading trial lawyers from the United States and Canada, dedicated to maintaining and improving the standards of professionalism, ethics and the administration of justice across the field. Fellowship is extended by invitation only to the most experienced and qualified attorneys who have been actively engaged in trial work for at least 15 years.

Less than 1% of the total lawyer population of any state or province are invited to join, with a total of 5,800 Fellows across the U.S. and Canada.

Sims’ induction makes him the third SGB attorney to be admitted to the ACTL, following Becky Roe and Jeffery Robinson.

Qualified lawyers are called to the ACTL from every branch of trial practice, whether they represent plaintiffs or defendants, in civil proceedings of all types as well as prosecutors and criminal defense

lawyers. Sims has over 25 years of litigation and trial experience, and his practice at SGB focuses on asbestos & mesothelioma, aviation, personal injury & wrongful death, and product liability cases.

Prior to private practice, Sims served as Criminal Division Chief in the Seattle Attorney’s Office and has also practiced as the Senior King County Prosecutor.

His calling to “be of service to others” motivates the work he does at SGB, and he looks forward to driving the standards of justice and ethics at the ACTL. To learn more about Craig Sims, visit his profile at https://sgb-law.com/our-team/c...
