In September and November 2020, SGB’s co-counsel, the Mendez Law Firm, filed separate class action lawsuits in King County against Pacific Partners Insulation South and North alleging that the companies failed to provide piece rate insulation installers with proper compensation for rest breaks. The two cases were consolidated on March 16, 2022, and the Court certified a class of piece rate installers the same day.

On December 22, 2022, the Court granted final approval of the class action settlement. Follow the links to view important documents in the case.

If you were employed by PPI South as a piece rate insulation installer at any time between September 24, 2017, and February 1, 2020 or by PPI North as a piece rate insulation installer between November 20, 2017 and February 1, 2020, you may be entitled to an award under the settlement.
