In May 2024, SGB filed a class action lawsuit on behalf of current and formerly employed longshore workers against Pacific Maritime Association and SSA Marine, alleging violations of paid sick leave laws. The lawsuit was removed from King County Superior Court and is currently pending in the United States District Court for the Western District of Washington in Seattle.
