Sergio A. Garcidueñas-Sease

With over ten years of experience as a personal injury attorney, Sergio is passionate about helping survivors receive justice and holding individuals, corporations, and governments accountable. He fiercely advocates for his clients who have suffered harm stemming from serious personal injury; wrongful death; and crimes like sexual assault and harassment.

With each case, Sergio takes pride in having a client-centered approach to the law where he earns his client’s trust, uncovers their story, and dedicates countless hours preparing a compelling case for trial. His tenacious approach has resulted in many successful outcomes for his clients.

Sergio’s passion for fighting against injustices began at an early age. He grew up throughout Africa and Latin America in countries plagued with atrocities where he witnessed the devastations of civil war, inequality, and poverty. He spent summers in Mexico learning about his family’s cultural traditions. He moved to the Seattle area for high school then attended college in Washington, D.C. where he studied human rights. During law school, Sergio advocated for farmworker rights with Columbia Legal Services and clerked for the Inter-American Court of Human Rights in Costa Rica as well as the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) of Washington.

As a proud Mexican American, Sergio speaks Spanish fluently, allowing him to connect with the marginalized Latino/a community. Since law school, Sergio has volunteered countless hours fighting for the Latino/a community at legal clinics, speaking at community events and protests, and participating in workshops teaching individuals about their legal rights. He is a proud Board Member of the Latina/o Bar Association of Washington (LBAW).

During his free time, Sergio loves playing guitar, dabbling in art, birding, listening to Mexican ballad/ranchera music, cooking, and traveling.
